Chapter I
Started in a garage
UrbanWood Floors started in 2011 in a two-car garage with a table saw, a borrowed pickup, and a stubborn belief that hardwood flooring didn't have to be a stressful, opaque process.
Fourteen years later, we've laid over 1.2 million square feet of floor and we still measure every one ourselves. We only stock five species — the ones we'd put in our own homes.
